Located along the West Passage of Jamestown, Rhode Island, Dutch Harbor is considered one of the last pristine and unspoiled boating locations of Southern New England. Nestled between the uninhabitable Dutch Island and the small town of Jamestown, Dutch Harbor is a full service boat yard, mooring field, and anchorage offering the very best in boating service, storage, and maintenance.
As we head into the Summer of 2008, the DHBY family looks forward to your visit. This summer we will offer launch service to both the mooring field as well as our north anchorage in our launch boat "NOVA". Hail us on Channel 69 for service. Our launch boat runs late to offer you and your family access to the many restaurants and shops of beautiful the Jamestown village, less than a mile walk from our docks and facilities. Dutch Harbor Boat Yard also offers pumpout service from our service vessel "Headway", which also is hailed on channel 69. Due to the busy months of summer at Dutch Harbor, we can only accept reservations from yacht clubs and cruising clubs. We offer overnight moorings for vessels of all sizes, but they often go fast so early arrival is a great way to ensure accommodation.
For 2008, DHBY is adding to its fleet of sailboats for our Sailboat and Kayak rentals. Please see the additional links for more information about how you can experience the natural beauty of our harbor in a classic Cape Dory Typhoon or the gentle glide of a kayak.
Since the restoration of Dutch Island Light House we have decided to schedule in "Sunset Cruises" out to this historic lighthouse. More details to follow.
